Door County Charter Fishing

Silver Strike Charters was out last night out of Baileys Harbor, Door County. The Salmon and Rainbow trout are really starting to hit. We went 9-13 and did not get the full night bite having to head back to the dock due to the customers. Numbers have been varying depending on weather but catches from 5-15 are common. anywhere from 70-90 feet of water on Dodger flies and spoons have been working. Fish are coming at all depths including dipsy divers, lead core and downriggers. Most of the fish are 4+ lbs with about 1/4 of the catch being 4 year olds. The fish are looking very healthy and quite a bit of baitfish pods are being seen.
