Brown Trout Tournament

The annual Baileys Harbor Brown Trout derby was held this past weekend in Door County this past weekend. Fishing was pretty slow Friday and Saturday with wind gust up to 30 mph out of the North West. We fished the Sturgeon Bay quarry and then Lilly bay on Lake Michigan, but neither produced many browns. For the next day and a half we basically fished whever we could based on the wind but fishing was still slow. The last morning of the Brown Trout Derby, our Silver Strike Fishing charters Team hooked up a 19.01 pound Brown on the Bay of Green Bay. We placed 2nd in the Derby.
